Is this true?

I was talking to this guy at work about my Creed obsession and he said that he bets me, he saw them in Concert before I did. I cannot remember the town he said, I will have to ask him Monday at work, but he said they were with some other bands and it only cost 98 cents to see them. Is that true? I have never heard this, but I am dying to know if anyone else knows anything about it. I will get more details Monday and post them, but let me know if you know anything.

Back in 1996 or so, there was a radio promotion when Creed opened for a band called Subrosa. I think it was in Atlanta, tho I'm not positive about that. 98 Rock gave listeners a chance to see the show for the admission price of 98 cents.
