Does it ever get easier?

After your parent's divorce,that is? I've been cleaning for the past couple of hours and I came acrossed some pictures of my mom and dad together from Christmas 2 years ago,and I just started feeling so down about everything that has happened since then and I just cried :frown:I still don't think that I've completely dealt with this,I don't know how to deal with it,really. I just don't understand how someone can marry another person and love them and live with them for so long,but then in a couple short weeks its over,just like that!

Does the pain,resentment,and anger ever go away? Will I ever heal from this? Or am I not meant to?

That sounds rough. Maybe after more time passes you'll feel better.

It's usually time that makes things easier for me, hope you'll feel all right sooner than later

Thanks,I hope so to. Right now its not looking to happen though. I think its gonna take a while for me.

as eusibio said .....time will definitely gona help u be more stronger.....or may be with time...u will find ways of dealing with ur memories............hope that ur feelling better now........

Well Julie, at least your ma and pa are still alive, I don't have a ma or pa anymore, both have passed on... but I wish you well Julie...

Hey, Julie. It will take some time to deal with it, and it's not always easy. My guess is their troubles were going on much longer than a couple of weeks. They probably just tried to shield them from the rest of the family. Talking about it with someone definitely helps, so don't forget, we're always here for you
