Well I dont know if we only deserve one specific day as our day...but International Women's Day is the universal day to celebrate the women's rights....even though we also know that lots of women in various countries still are extremelly abused, disrespected and humiliated and treated as inferior by men .Anyway I hope a GREAT DAY to all of us here ...

Among other relevant historic events, it commemorates the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire (New York, 1911), where over 140 women lost their lives. The idea of having an international women's day was first put forward at the turn of the 20th century amid rapid world industrialization and economic expansion that led to protests over working conditions. Women from clothing and textile factories staged one such protest on 8 March 1857 in New York City. The garment workers were protesting what they saw as very poor working conditions and low wages. The protesters were attacked and dispersed by police. These women established their first labor union in the same month two years later.

It really pisses me off when people treat girls differently, just because they are girls. We can do just about anything that guys can can do! I can't stand people who look down on us because we are female and treat us like we don't measure up to men! Hence the reason that some guys can't get chicks or turn gay

golly... in the US, it's Women's History month or something like that... what's happening to all the White Male History months? Seriously... we used to have 12 or 13 or so, and now they're giving them all away... Black History month is February, Latino History month was a few months ago, now it's Women's History month. There's prolly a few others. Before you know it, we won't have any months left!!!! I'm going to Canada, darnit!
