As far as Scott Creed -- oh excuse me, Stapp -- is concerned... I'd be very disappointed in him if he tried to make use of the Creed name for another project. Don't you know "new & improved" never works? Hollywood should be a good example of that...

HELL NO! I agree with the part about him starting a new band, but, not under the Creed name. That would be just as pathetic as what axl did with gnr.

There are a lot of bands that have carried on the name after losing band members. Days of the New, Fuel, Adema, Drowning Pool, INXS, Smashing Pumpkins, and many others. I think the main reason for doing that is cash. They're more likely to put more money in their pockets by using the name that made them rich in the first place. I would prefer to see Stapp start is own, new band... as opposed to being solo. I don't think his name really does him any favors since he has such a polarizing reputation.

Scott's having a hard enough time being a solo artist. Doing something like that, would definitely kill it for him, so no, that wouldn't be a good idea at all.
