90% harder but it would be cool if they can throw in a ballad in the middle to help me slow down and avoid another speeding ticket or bruising from headbanging on the dash!

Is THAT what that big purple thing was in the middle of your head?? I saw it big as day but didn't want to say anything. And I definitely think for the CA. Traffic School's sake, Creed needs to throw a ballad in the middle of the next CD or you'll be earning frequent driver miles. All the Traffic School instructors will be on a first name basis with you.

A more harder album for the fourth CD would be great. I hope most of the CD will be hard, but i like a mixture of their style.

I like many of the songs off Weathered, but I do think they neededto have a little more lyrical depth to them. My first impression was "holy crap the composition and the musical part is amazing! I just wish some more time/thought went into the lyrical content."
MOP and Human Clay had some fantastic lyrical paintings in them (ie, torn, mop, faceless man, say i, etc). Weathered just doesn't seem to measure up in that regard. It can get a bit repetitive at times. My suggestion to Creed: spend more than a couple weeks on your next one. Weathered was great, but with a little more time/effort on the lyrics, and that album could have gone down in history.

i just ask for consistent guitar tone like HC and MOP. weathered was all over the place and the lyrics were a bit...i won't say.
they tried to appeal too much with weathered (diversity and stuff). HC's tone is....to die for. |

Don't forget that Mark was pulling double duty on Weathered with guitar and bass. Maybe not fully into one or the other. If Brett is definitely in for the next album, you can be sure Mark will kick ass on guitar because he can focus solely on what he does best.

I think a lil different....i Loved MOP's tone...and was a lil disapointed with some of the tone in HC....I still loved it...but it wasn't quite the same...i felt that Weatherd captured a lil of that tone and vibe from MOP....as for diversity...i think it awesome that a band will go for both extremes....people definately aren't one way all the time...and you need a lil of both.....
