Absolutely, if it helps Steve out, I'm all for it. Besides, he's the one undertaking the whole Cafe Press deal for shirts and stuff, so if the profits can help him keep us together, let's do it! I'd be happy with a shirt, but if there are other things available, count me in! I'll advertise Creedfeed.com anyway I can! (short of getting it tatooed on my butt, sorry Steve )

I would like the shirt very much. umm i would spend like $15-$20 bucks for the shirt. One suggestion is to keep it simple.

CreedFeed on the Front and like Feeding the Need for Creed on the back.

Keep it simple.

Mullet, that was definitely worth a lot more than two cents!! Thanks - and, you were right when you said "our members get younger and younger as time passes" Even though we have some newer and more mature folks, I know what you mean...

I think a good color would be like the coulor of the creedfeed website, which would be liek a gold brown color. The creed crest would be cool to have on though..

Ok here's my thoughts after reading the last comments posted...

1. The shirt will be our own design, thus eliminating any problems with legal issues.

2. Because I'm not the greatest graphic artist, I'd like to have input and submissions from everyone interested in designing the shirt. Send in graphics you have on your computer or ones you find on sites. Make your own design. Whatever. Submit stuff to [email protected] - I will post full designs, partial designs, or whatever on a webpage and others can work off of them. Note: I ask that if you are sending in a design, you try to do so in Adobe Photoshop and submit a PDF - this way if changes need to be made, it's much easier to fix. It's ok if you don't or can't... just a suggestion

3. Regarding costs... I will research ways to get shirts made and how much it will cost per shirt. If we go the cafe press route (we can sell mousepads, bags, etc.) the price would be under $15 for a t-shirt and under $25-26 for a sweatshirt. With Cafe Press, I would be able to set any price I want for the shirts. If we go this route, I would pick the smallest price available... I think you get like $1.00 or maybe even less commission for each shirt that way... thus any money made from the sales would be extrememly minimal. As I stated before, this is not for making money.

That sounds great, Steve. A sweatshirt would be very cool, too. Good plan.

1. Legal issues would suck, so lets go with our own.
2. While I will not be submitting any design ideas, I think that if there are several submitted, we should either vote on them or have Steve make the final decision. I have no problem either way.
3. A question for Steve: Is there a certain quantity that you need to have made up? For example, will it cost more if you only have a small number made up or do you have to have a large number with Cafe Press? I know where I work, if we have shirts printed up, we need larger quantities to keep costs down.
And as a last thought, if I'm willing to pay $30-$45 dollars for a Creed concert t-shirt I am more than willing to pay that amount
for a Creedfeed shirt.

With Cafe Press, no quantity is required. If you sell 1 shirt or 50 shirts, I believe it's the same.

If we go with something other than Cafe Press, more would prob. be cheaper as you stated.

Yes, but by the same token, we don't want you to get stuck with shirts you can't get rid of because of needing to order a larger quantity. How do you want to handle sizes?

Sounds super!!
Now, all you artistic minded folks get to work and submit to Steve. Simple, easy to read and classy graphic that could be used on all our stuff. And, Steve...what about giving them a deadline to submit by, so we don't lose our momentum?
feeding the need for Creed
