I'll never understand
how I fell into your little universe of hate
you give yourself the right
to enter my life and make changes
you give yourself the right
to violate me, to rape my privacy
you never seem to understand I want you out of my life
you change with the tide
your judgement is the last thing I need
chasing me around, feeding your greed

you say I was nothing until I met you
seems you never know people can grow
and now you're giving yourself credit
for every little thing I succeed in
I run away because I'm tired
all this time you push me into selfdefence
I don't need you to approve my every move
I'll never know how you pushed yourself so far into my life
no matter what I do it never gets through
and it seems you get everyone fooled

your life is a power game I don't want to play
I'm always happy with my own little world
where I dedicate myself to love instead of hate
where I can breathe my own air
instead of being forced to live by your philosophy
where I can find innocence and purity
where those with a mind of their own
don't get pushed in a corner
because you need to have total controle
where you're only good enough when you go with the flow

you'll spit on all those who think like me
and I know why you won't let go
you'll never do this to an easy victim
but to those who won't let go
you feed on a world of misery
you need a robot society
you go for every perversion inside you
you'll never have the strenght to get over yourself
and people like me are always the target of your hate
for seeing through you, for telling the truth

I think peace and love

I think freedom, you give me a cage
all you grant me is a life of rage
because the world we want will kick you off your throne
and the light would shine on us all
instead of a chosen few
you burn our dreams
