Okay, I'm giving you my two cents, since everyone else is. I think its obvious that he's talking about what was and what is. What was, was Creed. What is, is AB. And he's very excited about this new band, new direction, and it has stimulated Mark to get back to the basics of rock, and to just let it rip.

Thanks for the nice welcomes
Shiver, I agree with you. It sorta stems from a deeper viewpoint of what my idea is for metalingus. I started thinking about how much metal AB really is, and it's more hard rock than metal. I guess "Hardrockingus" wouldn't really work too well, though. |

I do have to say that, I was reading the lyrics yesterday, because I went to their show in OKC last night, and to see Creed on the last leg of the Weathered tour, and to see AB was like to totally different bands, and it should be, they are, but their was a different energy, and I think if you take the time to read the lyrics, a lot of what Mark wrote about seemed to be about letting go of the past and moving on. And I am so much more excited now than ever after seeing them.

Re: What exactly is a Metalingus?
"Metalingus" is a joke title, a play on words, originally a working title. It gets its name from heavy metal and cunnilingus. "The title, originally a working title, is a joke and a portmanteau of the terms heavy metal and cunnilingus."-Wikipedia.
