St. Pattie's day luck

I'll just start from the begining.............My Grandma and Grandpa started to go to this casino every wednesday night because they would give you $10 each if you would go up there and play with their money they gave you, (and I'm sure they wanted everyone to use their own money too), but anyway, they would go every wednesday and they've been doing this for like 2 months. So last night, they were going to a 55 years and older club thing, and they were giving away 100 prizes and a PT Cruiser. Well they went down there, and My Grandpa won $16, and at the end of the deal, a woman called out some name saying that he won the PT Cruiser. No one got up and said, I WON! So, it turns out that the dude wasn't there. She called another name, and it was my Grandma, who was there. Today they went and signed the papers and got the, truck as they say, but it's more like a car to me. It's purple, they keep telling me, "It's plum", but, it's purple. If it were my car, and there was a chance to pick what color you want, I wouldn't have picked that color, but it didn't work that way for them. I just thought I'd share their Patties day luck. And, I know a lot of you aren't Oklahoma University fans, but I'm sure some of you are Denver Bronco's fans, so also, yesterday, my Mom and Dad met (forgive my spelling of that>>) Quinten Griffin, who played college football for OU, and plays pro ball for the Bronco's. Unfortunatly I wasn't there to meet him , but I'm glad for my parents. Mom said he was about as tall as she was, and shorter than my Dad. He said his leg's doing better too! Maybe he will play more for the Bronco's next year. I can't wait to see him play again.

That's sooo cool that your Grandparents won a new car( I call it a car too) I'm not a big football fan but it's pretty neat your parents got to meet that guy too. It's the luck of the Irish on St. Patty's day! What a great day they all had!!!

Yeah, it was pretty cool. I was at the house with my aunt and her baby, and Mom called to tell me about meeting our football boy, and then my Grandma came in with papers in her hand. I stopped talking to my Mom, and said,"Did you win? Did you win?" and she asked who I was talking to, she took the phone away and told them, and right as she said that, my aunt walked in the room and started jumping up and down. It was funny, Joshua (the baby) didn't know what to think about his Mommy jumping like that!

Schweetness! I'm in the running right now for a 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo right now here at school that's being raffled off. Limit of 2 tickets per person. It needs a bit of work, but it's fairly decent.

Good luck to you. I make my Mom put in for those nice cars that you always see at the mall. Maybe we'll get one of those one of these days!
