I wrote this today. Id love to put it into a song with my band but we have a christian theme and the lyrics are not at all me. I wrote it from the perspective of someone who needs someone to help them but feels neglected . again not me.

put yesterday in a box
but couldn't close the lid
in the shadow of my mind
but nowhere out of sight
the demon on my back
I somehow manage to hide
though I have moved on
it follows close behind
drug by a noose
I fear will be mine

cause I need some confirmation
to know theres more to me

Perhaps you found some freedom

again not me . the point im trying to make is that we never know what the guy next to us is going through so we should always try to put others above ourselves
