Woooooooo-hoooooooooooooo, I can't WAIT to get this. I'm going tomorrow as soon as I get up, which will probably be around noon, LOL...I'm getting that one and I think I will pick up the Godsmack acoustic as well. So, that's only about 11 hours away...I'm going to take it to the gym and listen to it while I work out!

We know I like Godsmack, but I've got to say who could listen to them much when they have a new Clapton release in their hand.

I'm picking up Eric's cd, and the newest edition to Dylan's bootleg series. I'm seriously thinking about getting there as soon as the music store opens. *lol*

Heheh, my copy's reserved, so I don't have to worry. I know I won't be up when they open, heheh...Hey, off topic here, but right now on Jimmy Kimmel live there's a band from Austin called Los Lonely Boys and they are pretty dang good. I just might have to pick up their CD as well tomorrow. They are three brothers, and the drummer's name is really Ringo, LOL! They kind of have a Sublime/Latin flavor to them. They were really good on the show, too!

I don't see myself making it at 10 A.M. either since I'll probably be getting up then. lol I think I'll go ahead and aim for 3 P.M.

Yeah!!!!! LLB are awesome!! I just discovered them a little over a month ago. If you go back and check my posts in "What Are You Listening To Now?" you will see that I was telling WeatheredWoman about them. I thought I told you as well! Definitely without a doubt get their cd. If you can't get three right now then just get Eric and LLB.

I have that performance taped from the first airing which wasn't too long ago.

Oops, you said Jimmy Kimmel. I was thinking Jay Leno for some reason. I just watched that performance...very good. I happen to have a few LLB boots that I still need to listen to. I can hook you up one day.

Yes, I do remember someone saying something about them (couldn't remember that it was you, LOL)...You are the queen of boots!!! I'm not worthy, LOL! Yeah, I think I will get LLB, too. I can get three...I shouldn't, but I will, hehehe. I have no control in the record store.

LOL, well I'm glad you caught them on Kimmel. Yeah, I should really slow down with the boots. LOL I have absolutely no control in the record store either. It's not possible. It's like putting a kid in a candy store and letting them look at everything they want.

Yeah, me, too. They did a great job. I'm stoked to get this CD tomorrow!

I'm sure you will love the cd. If you enjoyed the two songs there's no doubt.

Ha! Did someone mention the LOS LONELY BOYS???

I've been locked up way too long...
in this crazy world,
How far is heaven...

They're so relaxed!!! I love 'm! Music, guitarwork, relaxed singin' voice

See Smilin?? You should've opened a thread about them too!!
I'm so glad that you finally post some more over here... I love your threads and posts

LOL, I think LLB may have been mentioned. I should have. Maybe I will still start a thread about them. Good idea.

So guess what I got today? That's right Me and Mr. Johnson! I'm listening to it now, and of course it rocks! They're Red Hot is such an upbeat, fun song. Me And The Devil Blues comes next, and I think it's tied for my fave along with the former mentioned and Last Fair Deal Gone Down. Oh, and Stop Breakin' Down Blues.

Okay, I can't pick. I'm still soaking everything about this great album in.

Hahaha, me, toooooooo! I can't pick a favorite right now. I knew I would love this CD!!!! Wheeeeeeee!!!! And I listenend to LLB...reminded me a little of Santana mixed with Sublime...Nice combo. And I understand all the Spanish! The singer has excellent diction, and he's pretty easy on the eyes as well...Niiiiiiice loooooong hair .

Wheeeeeee!! That sounds like me! I listened to the cd about three times now. I finally ripped myself away, so I could listen to the Dylan cd. I'm going to listen to Me and Mr. Johnson again when I go to bed. Oh yeah, Hell Hound On My Trail is way beyond cool.

I bought a Sublime tape once. I didn't really care for them. LLB are awesome, and I too understand the Spanish. *lol* Henry does have nice, long hair. Definitely not too bad.

Okay, I've got to confess something right now. I need to find someone to tell. Lately, I've been finding Eric Clapton to be very attractive. Not all the time, but certain pictures or videos are perfect. The main thing is because of his voice. For all the hurt, for all the ragged edges, for all the whispering and growling are combined to make a voice that is one of the sexiest in music in my opinion.

For example check out this wallpaper, and imagine him singing (oh I don't know, Layla): http://www.clapton-online.com/clapto...34-800x600.jpg
The long hair was nice. lol

I'm totally going to shut up and regret this now.
