It is more than one person Siana. Not just Saddam. I think if they wanted to kill Saddam they could of done it long before now! The Iraq people are being brainwashed by him, some are supportive of him and some not, but they don't dare so anything or else there is HELL to pay, LITERALLY!!!!!!

About as close as you get!!!! I was thinking how ironic is it that when other countries call on the US we save thier ass, but when the tables are turned everyone hesitates to help us!!! That is a tad frusterating to me!! When other countries are at war with one another we always help out. But boy....... when we need at least "support" from them it is a huge ordeal and they need "proof to the extreme" to back us up!

gosh did you see 20/20 last night about Saddams son????? Holy shit, he is even worst I think!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! His people are terrified by him, he is satans son!!!!!

Didn´t it make you think if it´s worthy to oust Saddam??? Coz if you oust Saddam, you must oust his whole family...

well,i don't think all the ppl in Iraq suppot him.True, Saddam was reelected with 100% of the votes but don't you think ppl vote for him just coz they r too afraid from him and his army?they don't have a choice,really....
yes,some of them are brainwashed,but you would be too if you were born there and live there

Actually, the elections in Iraq had 2 options:

1. Yes!!! I want Saddam to be kept as our president.

2. No!!! I don´t want Saddam to quit.

Now you get why he get 100% of the votes!

No I would not be brainwashed, I would be one of those to escape!! I thank god everyday I am an American woman, we are very lucky to be in this country!

I had a funny joke thing emailed to me a little while ago about this. It had a picture of a mock voting ballot paper for Iraq and the two options to vote for President were:

(1) Saddam Hussein

(2) Please torture me and kill my family.

That also might be why he got all the votes.

yep, poor Iraquians (sp?)...

anyway, this week´s Veja (just like Time Magazine here) has an article about why Bush is so hated, the raising antiamerican feelings and the situation in Iraq.

it´s pretty good reading and it´s not bashing Bush. I liked it coz it was good to lighten people up and teach them a few things. Coz people start bashing Bush with no acknowledge of Histiory and today´s situation at all.

If someone wants, I can translate it and e-mail. But it´ll take some time coz i´t´s loooong... 6 word pages, with Arial 11.
