VillageWolf, I know it is so sad, there is ash everywhere where I live, I live by Temecula and we seem to be getting the smoke from everywhere! The old fire in the mountians is really really scary, I don't know if you have been there in the recent past but SOOOOOO many of the trees are totally dead and just ready to burn! I can't imagine if Lake Arrowhead or Big Bear burns, it will be sooo tragic!! I love those mountians so much! My inlaws are in Big Bear and they are on mandatory evacuation and she's leaving today with her horses and dogs. I can't imagine if she loses her home.

You guys take care up there and I pray the fires do not reach you!!!

I am seriously starting to feel sick! This smoke is getting to me so bad!! Hey I just heard on the news they may have caught the guy that started the big fire that's in the mountians right now, God I hope so, I'd love to get my hands on him!! :madder: :madder: :madder:

Marlsy and Wolfie, you guys are in my thoughts and prayers. I cannot imagine living in fear like that. Back a few years ago when there were those big forest fires in Canada we were getting a lot of smoke and ash as far south as Southern New Jersey and it was all over the cars and really hard to breathe outside. I'm so sorry about what you guys are dealing with so close to home.

Thnx Teri. Things are starting to get scary here. My dad put gas in all the cars and told me to start packing all my important papers. My mom told me to gather up anything Im going to want to keep. *thinks* My house isnt going to fit in my suitcase!!!

Im just taking a break from packing right now. I got all my photos in a box and my clothes all folded my Beatles records stacked up

. I keep thinking about my Creed friends... if I have to leave my house Im not going to be able to talk to any of my friends for a while. Well Cj has my number... if things get bad Ill be able to send a message to someone. *sigh* what a day.

Hey Teri... didnt you go to DC? How was your trip?

Thats gotta be some scary stuff! I hope you don't have to leave your home behind but if you do I hope that you all get out of there safely and that you will be able to start over with peace of mind.

Thanks Teri and Sheila! It's cold out right now and there are clouds!!! We might even get some rain and this weekend the mountians might even a lil snow!!!! God must be answering all the prayers!!! I havn't even turned on the news yet this morning so I don't know where the fire is, villagewolf, I hope all is well there!! take care and god bless!!!

Thank you Jen!! It rained really hard last night and even snowed in the mountains, it was so great!! It's really really cold outside!! The fire in the mountains is still going but moving really slow. My in laws are in the clear as of right now but all could change i guess next week again when it gets hot again and the fire kicks up!
