Hey guys we got a first time poster here but i've been reading the boards for some time now, been a crazy creed fan since 97' and thought it's time to express some ideas ... ok so on to the question!!!!
As I hope some of us know the Blue Collar Relase of "One" is substantially different from the wind-up release... for instance at minute 3:40 - 4:00 and then 4:40 to 5:10 tremonti adds some really sweet riffs ... Flip truely kicks it up a notch with the speed and we really hear a hidden creed flavor and I really like it ... If anyone knows what I'm talking about I'd like to hear your opinions on why those AWESOME parts were edited???????? HELL YAH FIRST POST ... AND IF ANYONE DOESN'T HAVE THE SONG PLEASE E-MAIL ME AND LET ME KNOW, EVERY CREED FAN NEEDS TO HEAR THIS ONE!!!!! |

Welcome to the board!
I agree, BC One kicks ass! As far as the different mix on the Wind Up release...I'm clueless *shrugs* At any rate, I enjoy the subtle differences in the mixes on several of the BC tracks.

yeah....i like both versions....the bass and drums take a lil more center stage during the bridge.....but i'd say that the guitars in both are about equal...in the BC...mark does a lot more harmonics and sliding and has a couple lil riffs after the bridge.....but in the Wind-up....he just ripps it up n stuff at the end..

though the solo section on both versions are off the hizzle, i prefer the bc version, b/c it's got more of an edge to it and it's a bit of a change from the parts the guitar and bass play the rest of the song.
