I haven't actually been there and had a proper look, it sounds like it's worth a good browse though

Michael I promise I won't bombard you with 8 questions or so this time!
1.Have you settled on a producer and can you us who he/she is? 2.Can you tell us which singers who auditoned were unsuccessful? Any notable names? 3.Can you tell us how close Submersed's debut is? |

i know this is a far-fetched hope but how cool would this be? The "new band" or "side-project" with a little help covers Temple of the Dog's "Hunger Strike" with some help by Scott Stapp. Myles takes his friend's Cornell part (he sang a duet with Chris at Susan Silver's birthday) with some of those screams in F sharp very cool, while Scott doesn't care what anyone thinks and takes Vedder's part. Okay so it will never happen but a man can dream right?

LOL, hide....just pop in TOTD, hehe. I wouldn't want a cover of that song. It's perfect the way it is and I hardly think anyone else could scream anywhere close to Cornell on that one.

hey don't be a dream stealer! Honestly Myles could take those parts IMO. Granted no-one can sing as well as him now incluidng Chris himself but I think Myles is better now IMHO. Myles does reach F sharp in Summergirl when he holds that note for an eternity but I guess he's not screaming at the same time. dreamstealer........ |

hehe because of you i think i have to go and steal some prozac pills of my crazy neighbour! Obviously it will never happen but how cool would it be? Seriously I can't recommend MF4's "Second Skin" highly enough. Their drummer IMHO leaves Flip in his wake and also provides some handy back-up vocals. Granted it sounds like Flip has gone to another level but I can only judge on what i've heard thus far. In this album Myles takes vocals and guitar and does a fantastic job. In their first album I believe, he wrote the guitar parts and then gave them to a secondary guitarist but then he left. He's a very good guitarist with 3 solos in this album with one during a song "Believe" being very impressive. In "Fallout" unless i'm horribly mistaken they cover Marvin Gaye's "Inner City Blues". IMHO this guy sounds like a cross between Chris Cornell and Jeff Buckley. |

Second Skin it is, hide. Thanks for the info. I think I'm goin' to the record store tomorrow...A cross between Cornell and Buckley is a dandy combination! And way cool on the Marvin Gaye cover!
