Comfortably Numb is the most booorrrrrring song, but I guess that's the point, LOL. Wish You Were Here is great, though, along with others.

Give The Wall a try, Dek. If the opener doesn't have you air guitaring, you have no soul!
Or better yet, some live stuff. I have Delicate Sound of Thunder at work and it's just an amazing experience. |

Pink Floyd are probably one of the more underated classic rock bands. Basically every prog band (indeed every I would suggest) owes a great debt to floyd. While bands like The Beatles probably receive too much praise, Floyd remain underated. I do like the cover of Another Brick in the Wall featuring Layne Staley and Tom Morello amongst others which featured in The Faculty.

I LOVED Roger Waters/Eric Clapton's acoustic version of Wish You Were Here on the Tsunami telethon. Best performance of the entire show. Definitley check out The Wall and Dark Side of the Moon.

That one is worse. ( I have it) I love songs when they actually play, like Money or Time. |

Pink Floyd is the most OVERrated prog bands ever. Some underrated Prog rocks bands would be Yes, The moody Blues and King Crimson. |

I'd say my fav Floyd songs include:
Another Brick in the Wall (Pt. 2) Hey You Money Sorrow Comfortably Numb I wouldn't necessarily call 'em overrated. I'll agree, Dek, those bands you mentioned are underrated, esp King Crimson. But Floyd's sweet. Roger Waters' writing and David Gilmour's guitar solos: awesome. They were one of the first Prog-Rock bands and most certainly one of the best. I think, in another thread, I've mentioned my faves before. But here they are again: ELO Emerson, Lake & Palmer Kansas Pink Floyd Queensrÿche Rush Styx Yes

Pink Floyd, is....amazing
Comfortably Numb as has always been one of my favorites, since i was a akid. That and is there anybody out there? Wonderful band, certainly not like death metal speed or anything, yes, very slow, but also very good.... The Wall (esp. Disc 2), Dark Side of the Moon, and also Animals, all very good.
