Some Recordings

I figure i've flapped my jaw enough to let you guys have a chance to take some pot shots at me for a change :P

I recorded about a half dozen covers as part of a game i played where i only gave myself one shot at recording each song, so what you hear is what you get, mistakes and all, and there are some fun ones.

I recorded these all as a single track (playing and singing at the same time) on a very crappy, very inappropriate headset mic (like you would use for teamspeak and ventrilo), so the quality is pretty poor, and the balance is off on most of them with the guitar being way too loud most of the time, but if you strain your ears you can hear me singing.

A few of them actually came out decent balance wise, but Is This The End and What's This Life For are probably the worst balances, however, the middle songs tend to start off a little imbalanced and then get better as the vocal volume increases in the natural progression of the song (Torn).

Some of these songs should never be played and sung at the same time, but i had fun with it, hope you enjoy em.

All but one of them are Creed since i was in a very Creed mood.

*Note* I basically did them in order of last to first, i gradually moved the mic around till i found a better balance position, so they basically go from best balance to worst, but i figured it'd be better to give you an idea of what my voice actually sounds like first before i make you strain your ears

Black Hole Sun ironically is the only one that ended up with a decent balance between vocal and guitar volume.

Ironic because i recorded these to have fun recording creed and the only one that came out good was the non creed song lol.
