My grandfather has been dying for the last few months and the other night we got a late night phone call. I thought crap this si it and I dont rember the last time I saw him (it had been a about a week). It turned out to be nothing but I lied in bed and thought of this.




woke up to the siren

of a midnight phone call

heart sank within as

my face fell into sweaty palms

noone wants to answer it

cause noone wants the news

so long anticipated

what if its something new



we must face the music

though the dissonance hurts our ears

and the pain ressonates heart to heart

with no harmony but only fear

This bitter chord won't sustain

there is more to this song

in his time a release
