Your first car

Just curious what everyone's first car was? Mine was a 77 Monte Carlo a V8 with lots of BALLS!!!!!! I think that is where I got the taste for SPEED! I remember having a tape player put in it and thinking Ahhhhh this is the life, and listening to Zeppelin etc... I saw a picture of it today and it brought back so many memories

well I know my first car will either be a Rav-4 or a Honda CR-V. I either want them in black, Maroon, or Royal Blue

The reason why I want those cars is because I'm only 5'0 and those seem like the perfect size cars for me.

My first is the one I still drive. It is a white 1991 Chevy S-10 Pickup with king-cab. It has almost 170,000 miles on it, and needs a new engine soon. There is also some pressure imbalance or something because my PVC valve keeps poping out of the carburator. If anyone has any advise on how to stop it, let me know. But, she's my baby and I love her. She gives me more lovin' than any one else ever has. Sad, isn't it.

Hey, PaulMcCoyGirl -- I'm going to see GC w/ NFG, Stretch Armstrong, and MxPx in Boise May 28th!

My first car was a '77 Chevy Vega that my mom bought for me from a farmer in a field somewhere. Once it was all cleaned up and ready to go, I still usually had to stick a pencil in the carburetor to keep it open to get it to start. My second car was a '74 Buick Skylark (I think it was '74) that was a manual transmission that at one point got STUCK in reverse, and then later would NOT go in reverse. Ahh, such fond memories.

Mine was a 95 Chevy Cavalier, I got it when I turned 16. Even though it was brand new, those things are a peice.

That is too funny, Teri!!

I got my first car when I was a little older, when I was 22. It was a beige Ford Escort. I was so happy to have my own car, it gave me a sense of freedom I never had before. The car was nothing special although it did have a tape player and air conditioning. It was a demo car and a lemon because I didn't have it very long and I had to get the head gasket replaced on it. Even back then, that was around $1000!! Needless to say, I didn't have it for long 'cause I would have ended up putting more money into it then it was worth!:P

My first car my mom bought me when I was 17, it was a 1974 Grey Toyota Celica. It was in really nice shape when she got it for me and I drove that thing into the ground!!! It was so thrashed by the time I got done with it!!! A lot of great memories are in that car though!!

My first car was 1990 Chevy Beretta.....I loved that car! My husband made me sell it a couple years ago....it was sad. But it ended up going to a friend, so I get to see my little car all the time!!! I'm silly, I know!!!!
