You guys are great.

I made a promise to myself on the weekend, and that is to stop snacking between meals. Because that is my biggest problem I think, sometimes I eat just because I am bored.... It's pretty bad, and they aren't good things, like biscutis, lollies, ect. So when I snack, I snack on fruit or have a big glass of water or something.

I'm gonna get a bunch of fruit when we get groceries again
I snack a lot and eat when I'm bored to Plus I get the munchies at night time, I need to start just drinking water instead:embarass:

Oh you get the munchies at night time? That toatlly sucks, that's the worse time to snack.

Yeah if you have water, it fills you up really fast, it's better than snacking on cookies, or sweets, or chips. If you don't like plain tap water then ya can always get fruit water, or something that's full of energy.

I meant I snack ay night time to I try not to eat very fattning things but sometimes thats impossible:embarass: Cuz we don't always have fruit and veggies at tghe house I get paid next week though so I'm gonna get a bunch of fruit and some vegetables, and apple cider I love apple cider, its the best part of fall!

MMMMM, apple cider is soooo good. It is one of my favorite things about autumn! And congratulations to all of you who are doing so well! It's great to read about everybody's successes, as it helps keep me motivated as well! I went home to Rhody this weekend and walked on two days. I'm still keeping to my low-carb plan, which seems to be working for me. I don't get on the scale, because I have a nutty relationship with that piece of machinery, LOL. But my clothes are getting looser, which means I made it through my California trip without too much damage done to the waistline . I think staying away from bread and sweets was the key. I did have lots of wine, though, which was delicious!

Good for you Dogstar I think I need to try that low carb thing to but I love sweets and bread a lot:embarass: I don't think I could ever give up chocolate either If I had to go without chocolate I would be impossible to live with

LOL, I sneak a piece every now and again...I'm just watching the intake. What I really like is I have a little more structure in my eating. It's made me think about what I put into my body and to just keep an eye on things. I still have a ways to go, but at least I'm making more healthy choices. I'm a bread freak, too, but Creedfest photos were a serious wake-up call, LOL...

I just need to lose about 5 or 10 pounds and I was doing really good over the summer with walking and I was eating more fruits and veggies, but now I think that I need to do more then the walking cuz it doesn't seem to want to work anymore and I've been doing krunches to and it helped for a little while:embarass: I think I need to get a membership to a gym now.

I am feeling really good about myself at the moment. You remember how I mentioned that I had to get back into the habit of exercising again, well I have organised it. I have a schedule, I am exercising for half an hour periods morning and night, and cutting down on my meal sizes, not snacking, and pretty much just watching what I eat. I have a folder all set out with my goals, my food diary, my weight progress, ect.

I start on Monday, and am really looking forward to it. :P

Gosh, I could never sign up at a local gym. I am very self concious about my body, my self image ect, I don't think I could ever exersice in front of people I don't know. That's why I love exercising by myself, in the privacy of my own home, you know so i'm concentrating 100% on what I am doing.

Hayley, you're inspiring and motivating me to do more to help myself. I haven't been to the gym in the last week because I haven't been feeling well but I hope to get back to it this weekend. I also need to make some changes in my eating habits. I'm thinking about joining Weight Watchers to give me some guidance.
