I know exactly how you guys feel. I sounded like a broken record this NYE. All I kept saying was, "This year is just not the same!" It was actually depressing! "10:00 ... Creed was just coming out" ... "11:50 ... Creed just left the stage before coming back out for the encore" ... "12:00 ... Scott just toasted with his water bottle and wished us Happy New Year ... Confetti falling on our heads" ... and then ... I caught the drumstick!!!! I think the people I spent NYE with were actually starting to get annoyed with me. Then I watched the end of the Alcatraz concert at 12:15 ... just to pretend I was there. (Okay ... I have some issues!!!)

Same HERE!!!! This year I had to work, which made it doubly suck! Man, last year ranks as one of the best NYE's EVER!

You might say that, you might! NYE wasn't the same this year for me either! I spent it with my children this year though! So, that's a plus!

Hm, let's see... favorite lyric or quote...?
And I'll get about a -3 on the manliness scale for this one, but... I don't know how many times I've layed in bed listening to Weathered since I became a Creed fan, particularly One Last Breath, and every time it goes to E minor and Scott sings: "Sad eyes, follow me... but I still believe there's something left for me. So please come stay with me... 'cause I still believe there's something left for you and me, you and me, for you and me..." ... I get teary eyed. And I don't really know why. Oh well.

That's my favorite part of One Last Breath too, VoveoVoviVotum. I love it because it gives me a feeling of hope and having faith.

I realize everyone hears the message they want to but for me, it's the What If lyrics, What comsumes your thoughts controls your life.
I have read lots of references to this in the many Native American teachings I have studied. Charmin

I love What If too, Charmin, and I think the line you quoted is so true.

ITTE (whole dang ol' song); WTLF (esp. the "but they ain't here...." part); "Next time I see this face, I'll say, 'I choose to live for always. So won't you come inside, and never go away?'" (Faceless Man for those of you who don't know).... I think I may've posted in here about 135 days ago, I'm not sure.

My favorite lyrics have to be from the acoustic version of "Is this the end" not made for the scream 3 soundtrack
The stains on his side Are there to remind us of mankind and his pride When two worlds collide He steals the life like a thief in the night That night he died Taking the keys for your life and mine So Is this the end for us my friend? these lyrics were the first lyrics I heard for this song on a bootleg acoustic but they later got changed for the movie and stayed the same |
