I don´t get that part from what if before distortion kicks in (after the intro)...
I saw the tab was like D 2.7^ A 2.7^ ... how do you do that?

basically, to do the harmonic you just rest your finger about 3/4 of the way up the third fret

grrr.......always with you what cannot be done....

I had the wrong chord for the last part of the break down riff, i was actually supposed to be playing what i fretted except a string lower lol

lol it just take practice

just rest your finger where you would normally fret on the third fret and pick, it should make a high pitched ringing noise. Throw in distortion and timing and you've got yourself the what if harmonic

i made a recording of an 11 minute jam with me playing what if into my sacrifice into freedom fighter.

Sadly this file when converted into mp3 is 10.6 megs, .6 megs larger than i can have to post it (10 is max)

Anyone have a server that can hold more?
