You and I, the best of friends
Went to a place, where the fun never ends
We had a great time, we even laughed
Flying so high, moving so fast

Why were you taken
At such a young age
You just began to live life
Finally breaking free from this cage
You were so young, it’s hard to believe
Life could be so cruel, you were taken from me

I know it’s not my fault,
But I feel that I’m to blame
You were inexperienced,
And now I’m in pain

Why were you taken

For you have gone to a better place,
Just know you are missed, and I still see your face

Creed7352 its obvious its about a great loss very well written You Were Inexperinced and now im in pain why were you taken at such young age only the good die young

Well I don't mean to rag on it but the rhyming is just so forced... I can pretty much tell what is coming next and that is never a good thing.

It's isn't horrible or anything, but it is extremely predictable.

from posts about lyrics in other threads and from the posting of yours and such, i'm curious...what is a song that you think the lyrics are great in? from someone i'd know or could listen to if i don't know them.

i dont know there is so many you know you can never go wrong with classic stuff Floyd Queen Zepplin Taylor Deep Purple Elton John some great lyrics you will find and always refreshing
