The wisdom of wisdom teeth...

Is there really wisdom in Wisdom Teeth? I sure hope not. I have to get them pulled tomorrow.

The dentist said they should all come out pretty easy, except for one that'll need to be taken out in 3 sections (the top, then each root). So, I'll be gone for a few days again. My mom got Monday off work, so I probably won't be able to get online then, so I'll be back on either Tuesday or Wednesday for all you beloved CreedFeeders!

Oh, and here's the wisdom from my wisdom teeth (1 for each)
1. Never pee into the wind.
2. Never pat a burning dog.
3. Just agree with girls. Otherwise, you'll never get laid.
4. Never say never. Never say always. Never say no one. Never say everyone.

I was supposed to get mine out this year and am being a stubborn person and not doing it!!! They are not moving my teeth my teeth are perfectly straight, they just cause headaches somethimes. I hate going to the dentist and to an oral surgeon, NO WAY!!!!!

yea, i get the complete pleasure of getting mine out on july 18! i have to get mine out cause the bottom ones are coming in sideways lol, so if they stay they will screw up all of the lovely orthodontical work that has already been done. but i get pain pills so i think it will all be ok.

Good luck! I know the feeling. Guess what I had to do the last half-day of school? My mom had scheduled me to get my wisdom teeth cut out. Actually I never felt any pain afterwards because I think I was too doped up.

I wish you all the best, Colin. I've had my share of work done on my teeth but never with my wisdom teeth. Before I had my braces put on, they pulled three teeth to make room (I think

) so I never had to deal with getting my wisdom teeth out but 2 years ago I had my first root canal and crown done. Now it looks like I'm facing another root canal.

I'd rather be an OBGYN than a DDS! LOL j/k. I couldn't go into any form of medicine. My dentists aren't cute, probably just becuase they're guys, but my dentist in Idaho has a cute nurse!

Sheila -- Before I had my braces, I had to get 4 teeth out, but I didn't get knocked out first like I did for the wisdom teeth, just novacain in the gums.

Same here, Colin. I was WIDE awake when they pulled my 3 teeth out too. So I can sympathize with you.

Why do they call them wisdom teeth anyway do they make you smarter.
The brightness knob on the tv does it turn up the Intelligence.

I often wonder about stupid things like that.
