i know, i couldn't believe that! just got back from work, went to sportsline.com to see how the Birds did, and "holy shit! mulder went 10!" that's all i could think. it's still amazing. it's not bad what clemens did. sure, he didn't get the W. but he didn't take a loss either, and he pitched 7 inning of shutout ball, giving up only a handful of hits. so your WHIP & ERA are fine (if those count towards points)

The Red Sox scored NINE UNEARNED runs against the A's last night. Unreal. Scott Hatteberg (former Sox catcher now converted to first base) made two errors on one play and the floodgates opened....Man, how the A's have fallen. They so miss Mulder and Hudson.

The Yanks have been struggling this year, lol. Hopefully they get their stuff together and start winning some ballgames. They certainly have the talent to win a title.

It's because they have no sense of urgency: look at it this way. They have never been slow starters. So last year, they start losing a few games ands everyone is like "THE WORLD IS ENDING, THE YANKEES ARE 8-11!!". So they finally got that sense of urgency when they were below .500 for so long. This year, they jsut kinda kept thinking that the wins would come, because after all, they had a slow start last year and they won the division, right? Well, not so right. It took them an 11-19 start to get that sense of urgency, and now they are going on a run (thanks to my man TINO!), but have themselves in a big hole. Thank goodness the Redsox have gotten bitten by the injury bug, because otherwise this race would=over.

Fricken TINO. I can't stand him. I can't believe he's still getting it done! SKANKEES have won four straight...But my RED SOX are kicking butt, too. Last night, the much-maligned Kevin Millar hit a walk-off homer. It was his second of the year, and second in as many nights. It's a good thing he made up for the two mental mistakes/error at first that cost the Sox a run in the first place . He just might have saved his job for a little longer.

Yankees fasn are still in love with Tino, myself included. He gets a curtain call if he if friggin reaches on an error, for heaven's sake! He has gotten a curtain call for each of his home runs...
The guy rocks. So do the Yanks. The Sox are just getting lucky right now. They will give way to the superior team eventually. lol

BWAHHAHAHAAHA...The Skankees got swept, yes SWEPT, by baseball's worst team, the KC Royals....OMG....George is going to be some pissed!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...that is too awesome for words...
And David Ortiz won another one for the Sox, bailing out Keith Foulke, who better start earning his %$#!@# money. He has sucked this year! Ortiz hit a homer on a 3-2 count with two outs in the bottom of the ninth...Ok, when are the O's going to start sucking ?
