I was wondering why France (those who were supposed to speak German) doesn´t support USA:
-there are a lot of muslims there. So they decided to play safe, to avoid terrorism. hmm, whatever... now it begins: -they have US$ 4 BILLION contracts with Iraq! -Some time ago, Petrobras (BR), the largest Brazilian oil company and one of the biggest oil companies on Earth, signed a risk contract with Iraq. If they (BR techs) found oil somewhere there, Petrobras would be able to explore and earn with the oil they produced there, but Iraq wouldn´t pay for their searching. The thing is Petrobras found a really big oil camp (is that correct? oil camp?) . So, what did Saddam do? He threw out the Brazilians and brought a French Company to explore that region.  I heard this from one executive that´s our family´s friend... So, to make this thread less heavier, I´ll put some quotes that appear on a Brazilian magazine this week: " I dunno why people are surprised with the fact that France won´t help us to oust Saddam of Iraq. After all, the french didn´t help us to oust the germans from France" - Jay Leno "The only way to help France get into this war is by telling them we found trouts(sp?) in Iraq" - Dennis Miller "France broke a record during WW2, being the fastest world´s potence(sp?) to ever surrender" - Peter King "The last time the French asked for more proofs, they came to France under the German flag" - David Letterman "The only "war" France ever won was the French Revolution. But their enemies were also French..." - unknown PS: Sorry for my English mistakes on this thread, but I translated it from Portuguese and I´m not at my best right now, I need to take some rest...

*NEWS FLASH* France to be Conquered by USA and renamed FREEDOM; Iraq to be renamed FREEDOM lite.
Good Idea: replace "France/French" with Freedom. Bad Idea: Take your 3500$ suit and retag "Made in France" with "Made in FREEDOM" OH i am going to enjoy this freedom thng for a LOOOONG ass time....

french fries should be called american fries...since they are not french anyway.
french toast should egged toast..yes it is a lot boring name but still... |
