Livestock in 1998 and 2000? Don't you mean Woodstuck? :P

No one said they were going to keep the name Creed. Creed is no more. Tremo hasn't decided on a new name. And, if Stapp does solo work then he obviously won't need a band name.

Besides, we have to keep in mind that a lot of bands have tiffs and split up and then they come to their sense and revive the band. Aerosmith did that once. And they're back together. I can't see Creed never coming back together.

Yes, but that was Aerosmith. This is Creed. Every band is different. You can't say they are going to get back together because no one knows. There is always hope, yes, but sometimes hope just isn't enough.

Not trying to sound negative here.

Hey, it's a wild wonderful free world out there....I wouldn't be surprised...

I was on the original board at the Creed site when it first started and after it shut down-in an interview Scott admitted that he had posted on that board as Anthony Flippen. I remember seeing posts by Anthony Flippen-but I never knew who that was. That's why it pays to be responsible for what you say....because you never know who might be reading it.

Yeah, solo is tricky. Chris Cornell and Jerry Cantrell, two terrific musicians, had/have a hard time going it alone without the bands that made them famous. Jerry's put out terrific stuff, but practically no one's heard about. It took Chris Cornell to hook up with a pretty established band to make a comeback. His Euphoria Morning solo CD is absolutely beautiful, but I'm guessing only die-hard fans have picked that up, and that core is usually small. Casual Soundgarden fans probably don't even know he made it. Plus, a lot of people don't give the solo stuff a chance because they automatically dismiss it simply because it is solo. I guess Sting has done pretty well for himself, but he went poppish, so it's a different deal. It's harder for rock types, I think.

It got really nasty there- like VH1-lots of bashers were coming in and arguments and fights were breaking out. That's when they took it down and completely restructured their web site. Limiting it to members only--but the bullentin board was never brought back.

Hmph.

In truth, Stapp has brought a unique element to Creed. He's simply irreplacable.

Whether Downshifter ( The big Three -- Flip, Marshall, and TREMONTI _ can find some sort of new singer to be able to supplement the Creed "Schism" is still up in the air.

What we do know, however, is that ... well. So long as SOMEONE makes music, we'll be fine. I see a great career ahead of the Downshifter faction.

Stapp, alone, however? ... hmph. I'm not really sure we have anything to look forward to on that end.

The whole point of Creed was this: These four elements went together and created two incredible albums that moved and connected with everyone.

It's like a fragile puzzle peice. If you remove one peice, you lose the whole picture.

... let's just hope Downshifter finds a peice to fit into their puzzle, since they're missing their "singer" peice.
