I had a crush on Gene Simmons of KISS in those days
Was addicted to their music as well!! Also bands like Heart, SAGA, Rush, Deep Purple, Dio, Angel, AC/DC etc. etc.

70's music (a genre generally referred to as "album rock") is fucking awesome! I've got a shitload of songs from this time period on my computer (some groups extending into the '80s, '90s, and '00s, of course)... AC/DC, Aerosmith, Journey, REO Speedwagon, Boston, Foreigner, Guns N' Roses, Led Zep, Skynyrd, Styx... that's just a handful of the stuff.... Also got me a turntable down here @ school to play some of my parents' old 33's.... "Good motherfuckin' choice, motherfucker!".... Can't beat classic rock!

I grew up on 70s rock, so I'm a big fan. Good to see that younger people enjoy it, too! Some of my faves: Floyd, Zeppelin, Springsteen, AC/DC, Queen, Elton John, Black Sabbath, Yes...the list goes on...

It's fucking awesome!!! I really started listening to it in the past year or so, but over Christmas break, while at home, I listened to the 2 Classic Rock stations in town b/c the Alt-Rock station I usually listen to fired 2 immensely popular afternoon hosts, and the station was dull w/o them.

I think it shows the staying power of such good music that it's still on the radio. Makes me wonder who of today's bands will be played on the radio 20 years from now .
