The eeriness crept through her, it escalated leaving in her a sense of jubilation. Disbelief loomed in her mind, but here she stood alone, vulnerable at the dawn of devil’s hour a queen in rags, a saviour in torturous pain, the life in a valley of death, she was ignorant of how she appeared. No one cared anyway, it didn’t matter anymore everything around seemed eudemonic. This was the moment of unbeaten triumph, the moment of bare truth. She was going to bask in the glory of knowing-------Alas! What revelation.

A snow white cat brushed against her leg, making her jump. The cold air froze her insides as she gasped. Her breath crystallized in front of her and condensed on her skin. Pink blotches appeared on her pale face, a small fire flickered in those cold grey eyes. The cat disappeared in the fog that thickly blanketed the empty street. She pulled a hood over her head and gathered her voluminous cloak that disfigured her petite body making her imperceptible to everyone around her, as she has always been, as she always will be. She made her way down the dark alley; a gigantic white hand engulfed the black figure leaving vicious wisps of cloud in its place.

Yet, another unsung hero passes down the lane of oblivion. Life goes on and death is always somewhere around the corner waiting to pounce, presumptuously vain.

Who is she? She is Ramoniella Stone. Yes, you wouldn't know her.
