I like Chevelle and Submersed.
But for that list, I can only recommend U2. I don't like any of the other artists. I would get the Joshua Tree, War, Boy and the Unforgettable Fire. I love all of those. *edit* Ooops, I missed AC/DC . I do like them. I have Highway to Hell and a live compilation.

Re: Albums Recomended for the following ?
well then i guess the only way to get the kind of muic u want to hear is to make it huh? thats whats i hope the next generation of artists do because right now rock is so bland, which sux cause music is one of my passions. i havent given up rock tho, i just wait until somthing good comes out(wich seems to take a lot more time then it used to). but i listen to those other genres because i have other music desired that arent met with rock.

Re: Albums Recomended for the following ?
Bon Jovi = Bounce is real good, but I do prefer the old stuff. U2 = all the cds dogstar suggested and Acthung Baby which is awesome !!!! And dont forget Rattle and Hum cuz definitely you have very good stuff and also great covers--you just need to avoid Pop (even Bono hated it!) and Zooropa ..the weaker ones...

Re: Albums Recomended for the following ?
U2's The Joshua Tree and War are my favorite..... not as keen on their more recent stuff, so if you're gonna go U2, you picked, IMO, the right "era"

Re: Albums Recomended for the following ?
Bon Jovi:
I own a greatest hits, that's decent, except for the last couple of songs Bryan Adams: Best album by far is "Reckless" and the one with 'I do it for you' & 'Can't stop this thing we started' on it, I can't remember the title right now, is quite good too. Rush: Well I really don't know the compilation albums that well and you're going to miss out on a lot if you only purchase them, my most favourite Rush-songs are the more unknowns. I can advice the Rush in Rio-DVD. Favourite regular albums: "Power windows" and "Hold your fire" U2: "The unforgettable fire", "The Joshua tree" and "Rattle and hum" (I don't know if that last one is from the 80's), their 3 best albums and ofcourse their very best: U2 live - Under a blood red sky AC/DC: I don't know their albums. Journey: Don't know their albums either. Other similar artists: Saga - Heads or tales Genesis - Three sides live Marillion - Clutching at straws Simple Minds - Sparkle in the rain REO Speedwagon - Greatest Hits
