last night was so amazing!!!
so last night, me and my friend colleen went to the trans-siberian orchestra concert in town. this was my third year and her first. i got such sweet tickets. they were front row, a bit to the left of the stage (they sure has hell beat the 11th row tickets i had my first time and third row last year).
anyway, the concert rocked. they first did their usual presentation of 'christmas eve and other stories' which was awesome. afterward, they did stuff off of 'beethoven's last night,' 'the christmas attic,' 'the lost christmas eve,' and their unreleased album 'night castle.' the sound, the lights, the pyro... it was all awesome. when all was done, they played a bit over a 2 and a half hour show. then, in the autograph line afterwards, i got a pick from both of the guitarists and the bassist, got autographs from them all, and talked a bit with them. the coolest thing was that when we went by some of them and talked to them, they said "hey, i recognize you. you were in the front row, weren't you?" we were like "hell yeah we were!" it was cool. they're such awesome people. also, as i told a couple of them, the show gets better every year. tso rocks!!! H-D

That's awesome Colin! I bought their multi-disc set last year, but I've never been fortunate enough to go see 'em. They usually play St. Louis within a couple days of Christmas, but I think I've been otherwise occupied those times.
