Another poem

I was doing some writing this afternoon and wrote the following poem:

Revelation

I see things
in a new and
different light

I see hope and freedom
where there once
was only a glimmer of both

It helps give
me strength to
continue the fight

It renews my spirit
and energizes my
soul to new heights

I love it Sheila. It is really good. I still haven't sat down and written anything. Maybe I will get a minute to do so soon. I really like your poems, they make you think. Keep 'em comin' girl, you are very talented.

It is very rich with emotion. I love the title.

Really feeling the lines;

They speak to me.

But seriously, it's hard to believe you haven't written before, or have you? Maybe when you were younger? Keep 'em comin! This was my favorite line (about hope & freedom)

I can honestly say that I've never done any writing before, even as a kid. Growing up, I thought I was a terrible writer. It's something I started doing just recently. I've been journaling for about 2 years but I've never done any creative writing before.
