Downshifter Talk Has Resurfaced

Recently another creed/Tremo fan had a chance to meet Tremo. The fan has explained that Tremonti did confirm the rumors of the band he and Flip are starting called Downshifter. (For those that hadn't heard the rumor, its a hard rock/metal band ala evanescence maybe somewhat harder)

Now I obviously cannot confirm this, its only still a rumor so I was wondering if anyone has heard this or has had the chance to meet Tremo and confirm this?

Tremonti has said publically on the radio that it is not going to happen. It never was. It was just a rumor that started from some fans of his. Aside from that, logically you would have to assume it won't happen anytime soon anyways as they are heading to the studio at the start of the new year.

didn't that name get registered by the Three Mountain Group? Anyone that sees Tremo at this meet and greet please ask him about this and any possible side-projects.

it could be crap but a dude at marktremonti.net has said that he met Mark at a thing with Steve Vai and Mark confirmed that Downshifter is a reality and he is pursueing this because Creed is moving slowly.

This sounds dodgy though because Creed will be in the studio in Jan and are in fact rehearsing now. I guess i'll wait until Mark's meet and greet and hopefully he settles these rumours.

Just wanted to see when the rumours wold be confirmed or unconfirmed. Will check back ...not holding my breath in between.

Creed are not rehearsing right now. They have not in a while. The kid has it about half right.
