I gave my Mom a early St Patricks Day present....A trip to Ireland for a week.
And at the Creed show in Raleigh Mark handed me one of his pics and this little girl who was beside me was just crushed because he did not hand it to her so after the show I gave it to her and she hugged me and cried and that got me crying...but it was worth it because I love kids and just knowing that I made a child happy was worth more than anything.

I did that one time too! I sang at my best friends wedding. She said she wouldn't go through with it unless I sang for her at the ceremony and at the reception, so I did! You have to understand when we were younger (18 & 15) she said she was NEVER getting married. She kept saying it to until she met Paul and BOOM they got married. Amanda was 2 years old and was her flower girl. She was sooo cute.(of course her flower girl dress cost more than matron of honor dress)

Have any of you ever stayed in a rustic cabin in a frigid Minnesota winter? The oldfashioned outhouse is a necessary evil. I cut a carpet square, cut an oval in the middle, and hand sewed lace around the edge, and made a matching tissue paper holder. I gave it as a gag gift to one of the other people along on the trip. We had drawn names.

What one does is hold the carpet over the stove in the cabin, grab it and run out like the dickens clutching it to you body to retain the warmth, enter the outhouse, throw it over the offending hole, and sit down quickly.

Wow, you have a big heart Smackxxx. If Mark would have handed me one of his picks, I honestly probably would not have done that. I bet that little girl was so happy. I think you deserve CreedFeed member of the YEAR!!

For the most unique thing, I'd have to say I gave one of my friends a mini can of Play-Doh. She said she was always bored during one of her classes.

Kerri and Kris, what a wonderful gift to give your friends. Very cool!!

whitebird, I love that story! That is definitely a unique gift.

The most unique gift I probably gave someone was a birthday gift I gave to my dad a year or two ago. Sometimes I have a difficult time knowing what to get for him but I lucked out one day and came upon something I knew he would enjoy. He's a NASCAR fan and Dale Earnhardt Sr. was always one of his favorite drivers. After Earnhardt's untimely death a few years ago, I found a nice wooden display case with a die cast model of his racing care with a litho of Earnhardt. Today it sits proudly in my dad's office in my parents house.
