Um, our fans don't usually kill each other. They're might be a few beer-induced brawls, but it doesn't reach the fervor of the UK hooligans or other worldwide soccer fans.

so you're saying that violence is restricted to the field?! What a good example for the youth!!!!!!!!!! No wonder wrestling is that popular!
LOL! I'm just pulling your leg... I liked to play NFL games when I was young... and I even visited Dan Marino's bar and got a Dolphins license plate for my bedroom door when I went to FL a long time ago. The plate is hanging on the door until today. How's that for you, Mrs. Sports Editor? hehehehe

Most sports are violent. Soccer is no exception. Look at hockey, too. It's all a *battle* of some sort no matter how you look at it. I never said our football wasn't violent. I said you really couldn't criticize our football given that violence over soccer is much more harsh than what happens on an American football field. Yes, there are injuiries many times, but our freaken fans don't kill each other. Now, if you don't like our football, fine. Stay the hell out of this thread and let us enjoy our violent sport, OK??? Have a nice day []

I think the paragraph above was enough to prove to you I was just messing with you. (although I'll never understand why it's called FOOTball ) But, fyi, I really like football movies. That should imply I don't hate the sport, but the opposite, shouldn't it?! Peace!

That was one of the happiest days of my life when Philly beat the Pukers!! (and again, sorry Steve) I was pacing the floor like there was no tomorrow!!
