Goneblind to back up Stapp
It seems the band Goneblind (you must remember them coz Mark and Flip were wearing their t-shirt very often during the weathered tour) is gonna back up Stapp.
Do you know their songs? I only listened to the demos on roadrunner uk site. Robyn, can you post the original article from PBF, please? My internet is F***ed up... so I won't be able to post until I get in the office on monday... tks!

So the Tea Party collaboration was just for the music inspired by the Passion of the Christ? Hmmm, don't know Goneblind's music....maybe they have a web site...

No, he've said that Tea Party will back him up on the album as well!! Lenny Kravitz have recorded some basslines with Scott as well.

Sure Marcos, here it is I hope this is the one you meant (the one about Gone Blind)
That was the quote under a picture of the band Gone Blind from Scott's post-VMA party. Here's the article: Gone Blind offers an interesting look at the local music scene by Robert Gonzales Contributing Writer You've seen one, you've seen them all, and boy, are they everywhere. I'm talking about the infinite number of live bands in the Houston area. I've seen quite a number of local bands, many of which have not left lasting impressions upon me - that is, until I saw Gone Blind. The group showcased several songs from its debut album, I Come in Peace, and other unreleased tracks from an upcoming release. The first song that will pull you in is a little number called "Winter." This song just hypnotizes you under lead singer Joe Paul's mesmerizing voice. If you like heart-pounding and just plain in-your-face rock music, "Bigfoot" is your song. Another track that is not only amazing for the music but for the message as well is "Bulletproof," a serious slant in Gone Blind's no-frills rock sound. Many times, a group's musical influences are easily identified, but Gone Blind is an exception. With all four members of the band contributing to the material, the style is truly its own. Mark Archer is probably one of the top five drummers in the Houston area. Joe Paul, lead vocals, has a powerful and energetic voice which will blow your eardrums out. Mitch Burman and Aristides are both phenomenal as well. With Los Angeles, San Francisco, Santa Barbara and Phoenix dates already under their belts, the members of Gone Blind are beginning to make headway for themselves. A new video is also scheduled to be released some time in March. If you are looking for a unique sound with stunning lyrics, this is your band. It is no secret that Gone Blind has definitely seen the light.

The only thing I could find that these guys put out was an EP a couple of years back. Anyone heard any of their stuff? There was a link to a song on the Roadrunner Records web site, but I can't listen to streaming .

Heh, thanks, Marcos. With Roadrunner Records, I'm not surprised. It's the same label that f*cked over Jerry Cantrell

Just to clarify - The Tea Party were only going to work with Scott, if their schedule allowed. I believe they started or will start their tour very shortly. In a Tea Party interview in August, they said they would love to work with Scott again and are keeping the door open.
Apparently, according to WU Scott is also re-recording Relearn Love and it will be rereleased. Also according to WU, Scott is in the studio now working on his solo CD and the Relearn Love video is still being worked on. I don't think the Lenny Kravitz thing was ever confirmed. But, if he does end up on Scott's solo CD it would be awesome. Lenny has been around for years - he is so cool.

They've been fucking around a little with their only really big band; Nickelback, as well.
