My Mood Swings

I try to stay positive most of the time, but the past few months I've been experiencing weird mood swings. Maybe it's hormones and just being 17. Ever since I moved I'll be in a pretty good mood for a while then sometimes late at night my mood will drop and I become depressed for like 3 days. It's like a cycle. It's probably because I'm stuck in the house all time because of being sick and everyday seems like the one before. I've been using music a lot lately to try to counter act these mood swings. I just had to vent this.

Dan, I'm so sorry you're feeling blue. It's probably a combination of everything. The stress from moving, change, your hormones ...and being sick and stuck inside. That would bum me out, too. I think you do a great job of trying to stay upbeat, at least here ! Music is good medicine for a lot of things, so keep using it and find someone to talk to as well. That always helps...And know that you have your fellow Creedfeeders pulling for you!

Dan, they always say laughter is the best medicine, and if that is the case, you always help heal all of us with your humor. I hope it works on you as well. Keep your chin up, keep listening to the music, it really helps and you know we are here to keep your spirits up when you need us.

Dan, I am sorry for the blues you have. It must be hard to be sick all the time You need to come to John's Hopkins by me here and find out really what the hell is wrong! Don't let life bring you down, pick up your feet and move on, you are such a nice guy you have so much to give to friends and of course a "girlfriend" Keep your head up and remember your second family is rooting for you!

Im really sorry to hear that Dan. Yes i find music very good at counteracting mood swings.
Ive been down a hell of a lot, and lately as well, a lot of the time music really pulls me though, I dont know where i would be without it.

Hang in there man.

Who do you think you are?
You all sound the same, With nothing to say. We say your an actor!."

Dan -
I too am sorry that you are feeling down and having mood swings. And yes - it is normal under times of stress and moving to feel down and think about things alot or stressed out. Just know that you are not alone and there are alot of people that care about you. It happens to all of us. You will get through this period of time, you will get used to your new surrondings, get through this hormonal change in life and sometimes it may feel like you wouln't - but trust me - YOU WILL. It's great that you have shared yourself with all of us here and if you continue to feel this way - please talk to us!

Music is a great way to release - I love music so much because of that. Sometimes when I get down I put on a CD (usually My Own Prison because it is such an emotional CD) and just get lost in the music - and the next thing you know its like I've gotten everything out that I wanted to get out just by chilling and listening to music.

Anyhow - if you need to talk you can always PM me or whatever!

Meredith

Vent all you want, it sounds like you need it. You have had an incredible amount of changes lately, and that would throw anyone into a low spot.

They say with each difficult situation you endure, your spirit grows.

I can laugh now, when I say that I am 10' tall on the inside, but it wasn't easy. I know that you too can get thru anything that is thrown your way.
