Life's storm
Shadows of pain...
Paint the rain... As it makes a stain... That will forever remain... Angry memories stay alive... Within the mind... Creating a lightning strike... Gives us a fright... That stays through the night... sadness that still exsists... Produces the rumble... Of the thunder... That makes us all wonder... We all start to stumble... As we fumble... Through the rumage... Looking out at the damage... After the storm tears us apart... Our hearts... Grow smaller than before... Makes us bitter... And vain... Put us to shame... Peering at our lives... They say every cloud has a silver lining... I think the silver in this cloud... Has slowly faded into a cold gray... Now as I start over... I begin to pray... For a brighter day... Is my hope I display... Life storms... Come through without warning... But there will always be mourning...
