Reality’s freedom

Depths of despair; Life aint fair
Looks so good on some, even counts for seduction
If only my real depression could be disguised as alluring melancholy rhetoric
But these thoughts and the tears are the harsh reality
And reality isn't as appealing, or as exquisite to experience
Cant stick "baby" on the end so it leaves you feeling good

Some can get their thoughts out
And the result is precious art
My efforts of expression make the masses
turn their back in disgust
Nothing here to lure you in Why would I even try
Recognition is for the beautifully packaged these days

I am not the superstar they want me to be
So now I am out of the circle, one of the nameless faces
I am staring back at it, shaking my head at the lost
wandering around like I once was;
like ants for food, Following along the line, to the big black hole
Oblivious to the giant boot looming overhead

Their preparation to face the world takes hours
And that's just on the outside, I just couldn't bother:
So the smiling faces are no longer coming my way
But all pointed in the direction of the lucky -
And the ones that make the effort for the special.
Making effort to join the special soiree again and again

I now relax back and see the same old thing
The masked nonchalantly needy, making that constant relentless effort
To get back there, to that place of comfort
Where nothings wrong, nothings lacking
Faces are staring, the guy is calling and "friends" come knocking
The energy to carry on the lie seeming to come from conveniently suppressed fear. So...sad.

I am happy I am worn out - just cannot play the petrifying game
I really do not care thank God, and I am
sad that you think I am the one that is dead to life
When your life is lived all for periodical peace and half-hearted happiness
For people who deserve your efforts only because they lengthen the facade that keeps you captive from really living.

Can you even look at me?
Why would you even bother now?
You just go and enjoy your life, with easy company
Who enable you to be who you wish to be, Who you've always wanted to be
So you wont ever ever have to look in your reflection
And ultimately, see someone like me

It is kinda weird putting down those thoughts...and I am pretty sure I will offend a fair few people...but I guess I am just so over it I dont care anymore.

Create; And enjoy the creation process people! Screw the inustry standards, or the recognition of the industry-tainted and just enjoy!

I read these, some conclusions remind me about the lyrics of Ian Curtis because of his rhythm, lyrics standing up for their graceful meaning anyway in their first theme. => "Atmosphere".
Then you glide up into many much more words, whenever words could fill up the music you and your band ever created!
