yeah, but you should play a song that shows off your skills

Of course, and both SHWM and PFAD do that...so choose the one you enjoy more.

i have a suggestion...How Bout BULLETS....not hugely popular...but yet a single... has pretty easy parts...and there's a lot of room for solo improv....the bass is a sinch...the only thing is the drums...i'm not a drummer...but i think that's the only iffy area

if you want to stand out play:

Pity for a Dime
Stand Here With Me
Bullets
What If (and get crazy lol)
Is This The End?
What's This Life For?

Do not play Illusion or Say I, they are good songs but a lot of people who don't know creed have trouble getting into those (i speak from experience, when i first started listening to creed, illusion was just too weird for me to get into)

My highest recommendation is Pity for a Dime because of the solo

well... you should go with pity 4 a dime... the verse is far more complicated than shwm verse... and it's catchy, it feels like you're tripping and everything is calm!
