The Useless Trivia Thread

Do you want to impress you friends with the amount of useless information lodged deep inside your cranium? Well you've come to the right place! I'll get the ball rolling I suppose......

An average woman in her lifetime will blink almost twice as much as an average man during his lifetime.
A duck's quack doesn't echo and no-one knows why.
