But in all seriousness I'd say I really only like Creed, Default and Incubus a whole heap out of those bands. The others are ok (apart from Linkin Park and Staind... horrible horrible stuff).

Please, no one take any hard feelings on this, but I can't understand a word Eddie Vedder says. To me he sounds like the teacher on Charlie Brown. Creed is for sure not a pearl jam ripp off. Creed is better in every directions that I can see. I've never really liked pearl jam though. I'm only expressing MY opinions, so please, I don't want to make an argument of this!

I dig System... got most of their songs... but Nickelback and Metallica just don't do it for me (esp Metallica's new stuff)... I'm not very familiar w/ Drowning Pool, so I can't exactly judge 'em.

I'm not taking any offense, but I have to say that PJ is better than Creed. I'm not like some PJ fans who diss Creed, of course you can see that. PJ definitely has the better lyrics and influenced more people. Eddie is also a better frontman that Scott especially with the way Scott has been lately. Just my two cents. Creed still rocks though.

That's a load of bullshit... listen very closely, not as background music, and you'll find differences. I will give you that Eddie and Scott sound very similar, but only in the middle range of their voices... they sound different at the extremities... Eddie's also got a bit a more laid-back feel to his voice... almost slurred even... and the writing sure is different... and in terms of overall sonic quality, Creed produces a fuller sound, in my opinion... the guitars/bass/drums are slightly more agressive... PJ's songs also tend to be slightly faster, in terms of tempo, than Creed's.

oh, and btw... I like just about all of Creed's music, but only like a small handful of PJ songs.
