They brought it on themselves. They wanted fame and a record deal. When you sell in excess of 20 million albums, you really can't keep everything from the public eye.

It's a just a phrase, for crying out loud. Would it be more PC to say, Enjoy the music and let it be about the music because that's what it's supposed to be and leave the musician alone already?

Sheesh!!!! Lighten UP.

I think we as a society concern ourselves way too much with celebrity and the idolization of it thereof. I'd rather focus on the music. I'm not saying I'm not interested in musicians as people and I love hearing what they have to say on different subjects, but the extent to which they are scrutinized/worshiped goes beyond reason in some cases.

I understand everyones points.I think in loving the music when it is as good as Creed's sometimes we do feel like we "know them."I know for me Creed's music has touched me in so many ways and in a small way it feels like I know them. For the most part I think they are cool guys and I wish the best for them in there music and there personal life.

In my opinion It's very normal nowadays that fans are interested in the musicians behind the music... at least where I come from they are!
So does that make it right? i mean... i know a lot of pot heads... and ppl that get drunk every weekend... but that doesn't make it right...

Celebrities should be allowed personal lifes... Period...

I know alot of pot heads and drunks too, but so what, they have great personalities, if they want to do that, then it's their choice, they may be ruining their life, but it's not my life. They can choose what they want to do in their own spare time, not up to any of us exepct for them.

Celebrities do have personal lives, just not all of the time, which is a shame, because they are restricted from doing alot of things, eg. Shopping at the supermarket, going up town to shop without a camera or a video camera being shoved in their faces.

But, like I said in a thread in The Band section, Stapp does have the right to his own personal life, just like we all do on this earth, but we are still going to be curious and poke our noses in every now and then, there's nothing wrong with that, it's just at times it goes to far, not exactly on this board, takling in general, its just natural to talk about other peoples personal lives.

Yeah, it is. And no, there is no way we will know absolutley everything about them, all there is to know, even if we think we do, I mean that's just the truth. Everybody has things they don't share with other people, secrets, personal information. Including Scott, Flip, and Mark!
