God this is scary - sound like anyone we know??? Stone Temple Pilots confirm split 17 November 2003 12.00am STONE TEMPLE PILOTS have confirmed that they are officially over. The band recently released a greatest hits album entitled ‘Thank You’ and guitarist Dean DeLeo told Guitar One magazine: "It was time to move on to other things. Life and personalities and brotherhood took its course. Everybody's got cool stuff going on. Scott Weiland is about to embark on a new experience (with Velvet Revolver). It just ran its course, I suppose."

I don't really follow STP so I didn't know that - but it just sounded eerie to me when I read it - the final album - the comments about brotherhood - going seperate ways - In 12 months that report could easily be about our boys... so freaky

How about Dexies Midnight RUNNERS??? ANd of course those are all broken up and their die hard fans probably felt the same way. Let's hope the fate of our boys isn't similar to the Beetles and the Doors - members of which met untimely deaths!!!! CREED FOREVER!
