Just Checking In
An F4 tornado (1/2 mile wide) went through my town last night (Jackson) and killed 11 people. I wanted to let everyone know that my family and I are all right. We don't have a basement (it has to do w/ the soil), so it was kinda scary. No serious damage was done to our house (just hail and tons of rain).
See ya later - Dan

Geez! I was keeping an eye out for St Louis in the papers because Julie's been talking of "torbadoes". I had no idea where else tornadoes hit though.
Glad you're okay.

Here in Australia we just get hot days. No, really, we get a few little earthquakes that no one feels, we get some flooding, bushfires, drought and some tropical storms (cyclones) off the northern coasts. But inland we're pretty safe.

yeah, there are bushfires occasionally here too. But it´s so far away from São Paulo that we don´t even know. And a few floods...

Hi Dan, Thanks for posting the 'good news' - hope your friends are Ok too. What devastation. It;s hard to imagine going through something like that...makes these California earthquakes seem trite.
