I'm a little late on this one, but I think Faceless Man is about his reflecting on himself and having the courage to listen to his conscience. The Faceless Man to me is that side of himself that he doesn't know or doesn't want to know. It's a battle to face yourself, your weaknesses, faults. And then when he does see that face in the water, it's that moment of recognition. Oh yeah, I know what I'm supposed to do. I can choose. I have free will. I don't know, just spit-balling here...it's late....

Yes, I feel that too. I cried when I heard this song live! I use this song to 'get me through' some rough days and when I have decisions to make - reminds me that there is an inner strength. So many lines that I connect with in that song, but I especially love the ending.."Next time I see this face I'll say I choose to live for always. So won't you come inside And never go away".

Oh, Teri, N30 (etc.)'s name is Marcos?? I'll remember that!

As for Faceless Man...god, I love that song. It's that line "Next time I see this face, I'll say I choose to live for always" that really hits me. I always feel so uplifted after listening to this song. I think that ppl really could use this song in their daily lives to get them through really tough times, because that's exactly what this song did for me. Eventually, I did choose to live for always, and basically b/c of Creed.

I like that interpretation too, Dogstar. It is hard to take an honest look at ourselves.
