OK, so we were probably all listening to the voice...but why don't we try and listen to the pronounciation of the words? It's definately Scott doing both parts.
N30°14'?.7 W84°, I watched the video clip. Mark is not singing. Watch the expression on Stapp's face during the second chorus and it is obvious that he's singing the high part. Just my 0.02. |

i just watched the video and mark didn't sing, he had a mic, but he didn't sing, and i could tell it was just scott.
P.S. Flip is wearing the bad ass shades :P

it doesn´t appear this part on the video? damn... I thought it did...
when they sing "What´s This Life For" there are 2 voices. Everybody agrees, right? But the higher tone is definately Mark. Maybe Steve knows... I´ll ask him.

Here's my opinion on the matter:
To be honest, I am not totally sure on this. If you listen to the first chorus, it definately sounds like both voices are Stapp's, however the second chorus it's harder to tell. But... I pulled out a few of my old bootlegs from 97 and 98. Live in concert Stapp sings the song by himself. Tremonti never sings in it. The first chorus Stapp sings really deep and low (like you hear in the chorus on the CD). The second chorus Stapp sings very high (like the high voice on the CD). Based on the bootleg thing, I'd say that Stapp sings on the CD solely by himself. If Mark sang on the CD he'd probably sing in concert (in the old ones at least since they pretty much played their shows right down to how the CD is).

In the video? To make it look nice? Because that's how their setup is normally? I don't know. Just because there's a mic in front of him doesn't mean he's actually singing.

not necessarily...it may be a lil hard for mark to sing and play guitar at the same time....

ok... I swear I saw Mark singing the chorus of WTLF... I don´t know if it was tv special or a video I downloaded...
maybe it was the H20 or the other version of WTLF video (there are 3 right?)

He sings in other songs, while playing. Besides, Mark is pro, I doubt singing and playing such easy stuff would give him any trouble. |

Yeah, that's what I thought. If any of you remember Creed's "Weathered" performance on top of the Stratosphere, you'll remember seeing a mic stand for Brett and Mark, even though neither of them sing on that song... |
