Ok...here's my poetic online debut (I have several more poems), but this particular one directly relates to the man behind the skins of Alter Bridge/Creed...our man...Mr. Scott (Flip) Phillips!!! I wrote this for an English assignment by the way...YAY!!!
- Ben ------------------------------------------------------------------ “Flip” Hear Flip! Your cadence thrives in the hearts and souls Of millions of followers and listeners of old, Skins are stretched tight over the drums Clashing bright cymbals gold as the sun, The backbone of pulse progressing through the stage Interweaving melody and rhythms to a colossal maze, And the roaring of the crowds greet the sounds that you fill Once more until nations of worlds apart experience the thrill, Flip the sticks once more Take flight, let loose, soar… --------------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you all for the compliments! I have other poems that are more religious in tone and such. I might put up a few of these later. Anyways, I've read many of the poems on this board, and absolutely love them.
