Another day sneaks away
The comfort of that shot
Dulls the ache in my heart

What will it take
To go with the flow
To ride the crest
To revel in the afterglow

As the stars fill the sky
I'm left to wonder why
I can't find the hole
That fits the key to my soul

What will it take
To catch the sun
To ride the crest
To be the lucky one
