Foo Fighters
The new Foo Fighters album, One-By-One, came out today. I bought it, listened to most of it on the way home from work, and liked it a lot. Good stuff, if you're looking for some solid new tunes.

My daughter picked it up for me today too...I told her to leave it home for me so I could listen to it when I got home from work...But the little shi* must have taken it with her...no sign of it ANYWHERE!!!

Yeah, they really are pretty cool. I saw them open for RHCP back in 2000. The drummer took the mic to cover Have a Cigar by Pink Floyd, and it kicked so much ass it was ridiculous.

SO how many songs are good on it. I want to buy it but I don't want to waste my money on a cd that has only like tow or three good songs.

Well, I'm listening to it now for the second time! It's worth the money. 11 songs. Here are my fave tracks so far:
All My Life Low Disenchanted Lullaby Tired of You(My fave so far) Halo Burn Away Come Back Lonely as You

Well, I don't like to listen to a new album all the way through. I like to acclimate myself to the first 7 or 8 songs first, then move onto the rest as a set. You find a lot of hidden jewels that way, because some songs that don't catch you the first time will really grow on you. But anyway, of the 7 songs I've listened to on the new Foo Fighters, I've listened to them probably 4 times each already (excluding the single which I've heard now like 20 times), and I think it's safe to say all 7 songs I've heard are really worth the time and/or effort it'll take you to get the CD. I've got 3 of them stuck in my head this morning.
